There's also google docs which is nicer for quickly iterating and getting reviews but it's much less discoverable and falls out of sync with the system much more easily.

It's simply impossible to do with contenteditable in a product level way - one of the reasons Google docs has a custom layout engine.

Part of the problem is that I m always pasting documents into corporate portals (Confluence, Wiki s, Google Docs) and they don t always copy formatting in the way I d expect.

Very similar to Google Drive, has 10 GB free space, mobile app, one can create/upload/edit Microsoft Office files. Additionally one can tag these files.
