Our story
I'm a producer. 20+ years in entertainment, mostly A-list talent, unscripted TV, and branded work for big Fortune 500 names.
A year ago I started wiring AI tools into my production work. Not because I'm a tech guy. Because I was drowning and needed the help.
It worked. Some of them saved me real time. Others were complete garbage that looked incredible in a demo and fell apart the second I put them near actual work.
Then every small business owner I know started asking me the same thing. "What AI tools should I actually be using?"
I went looking for an honest answer. Couldn't find one.
Every list is ranked by who pays the most affiliate commission. Every review is sponsored. The tools with the fattest PR budgets get the coverage. The ones that quietly save you your Tuesday afternoon get buried.
That seemed underhanded and janky.
So I started tracking them myself. Hundreds of AI tools, across every category that actually matters to a small business. Not my opinion. What real SMB owners are reporting, in their own words. Every tool gets a verdict. WORKED, FAILED, or MIXED. Real data, and the scoring isn't BS (the FAQ breaks it down).
Nobody pays to be on the list. Nobody pays to be left off it.
