My philosophy isn't to replace my other tools I love like... ghostty, etc.

Although I have a Mac, my main working machine is Windows so I can never use tools like Ghostty, Tmux, etc.

ghostty does not. It s like being stuck in mud but it s not just ghostty, all GPU accelerated terminals on Linux I tried have this muddy feel.

For me, a terminal program that requires me to muck with every machine I log into to get it to work is pretty horrible. Making that harder is exactly the opposite of what I want from a key tool like a terminal program.

You can search scroll back on Ghostty nightly. I switched straight from iTerm2 (after 20 years of iTerm).
