Teams that need shared password vaults, MFA/TOTP management, onboarding new hires, and SSH key injection. Recommended by security experts over LastPass. Strong fit for SaaS teams 10–50 employees.
The go-to team password manager for SaaS companies, but watch for browser extension autofill failures (~10% of the time) and pricing increases post–private equity acquisition. Browser extension deep integration is both its strength and its biggest reliability complaint.
Teams requiring local (offline) vault storage — v8+ forces cloud sync. Linux users report app and browser extension reliability issues. Not ideal for users who want open-source auditability.

My best practice is to store EVERYTHING in a 1Password vault (keys, files, passwords, certificates) cause you never know when you ll need them again.

It now covers every use case 1Password did for me... I don't think your password manager is good, and I don't think you think it's good either or you'd be using it.

I love 1Password 7, but don't want to upgrade to 8 for a number of reasons (including reviews, monthly charges, having to trust the 1Password cloud).

I personally use 1Password and if it had group password sharing, I would be lobbying to switch every day of the fucking week.

This doesn't align with my experience, and I've been using their app/service for years (the Windows & Mac apps, along with the Chrome and Firefox extensions).
