WORKS FOR

Managing unique usernames and passwords by integrating with Firefox Relay's API, Logging into various self-hosted services sharing an IP address by configuring the matching algorithm

KEY INSIGHT

A powerful open-source password manager, but its desktop apps are built on Electron and some users express trust concerns about its commercial direction.

DOESN'T WORK FOR

Managing/storing passkeys due to unclear storage location, Password manager for users concerned about vendor lock-in or trusting commercial providers

Bitwarden has made this easy as they let you import your Relay's API key and so every new site gets unique usernames and passwords.

Bitwarden seems to be doing some interesting lock-in, and while I have loved them, I no longer have a commercial password manager that I trust.

FAILED

The website won’t give me any information for me to find where I stored the passkey. Was it in iOS keyring? Chrome? My Bitwarden?
