I came to the conclusion that if it s not Teams SharePoint or the moat is on the extreme legal complexity side (e.g. payrolls), you can at least think of building an alternative.

Teams is very very bad at determining who is speaking when speakers are on the same account (e.g. if multiple people are in a physical room with a table microphone) and assigning tasks to the wrong person as a result.

Am I the only one who prefers Teams to the Slack and Zoom? The ability to write in the meeting chat before and after a meeting for example. That is some serious quality of life function that all others are lacking.

every single teams wiki ends up being a collection of links to a myriad of different places.

Right around the time the Teams bundling started our retention dropped, churn went through the roof, growth slowed down... causing even more churn (about 80% net churn in 2 years).

Office may be hard to replace, Teams maybe even harder... you hear a lot of complaints about Teams on HN but not so much from [general users].
