Its robust API is praised by developers, but its monthly pricing and template limits are major pain points for growing usage.

We have used Hellosign for years, and they are modern, awesome, and always responsive.

This is what HelloSign has done since the beginning. Take a picture with your phone, send the signature in, and you can attach it to most anything.

When I think about how much I love HelloSign, I can imagine the appeal of a physical machine that does the mundane work of signing for you.

We use Hellosign's API and love working with the Hellosign team. It was incredibly easy to integrate their API into our workflow.

It doesn't look like HelloSign supports eTokens or eID cards for signatures. Why not?

You can paste your signature, choose some random image to represent your signature, or even merely click to sign. Have you used HelloSign?

On the backend, it just uses HelloSign for the signature.

I have checked them out, and that's a total no-go. Although they claim to comply with EU law on electronic signatures, they most definitely do not: what they offer is a 'paste a PNG of your handwritten scrawl on this box' kind of service.

A lot of companies (including law firms and Fortune 100 corps) have had me sign documents with HelloSign with no reservation.

A signature pad could work too; I think HelloSign has something like that. But it's not a great solution if you don't have a tablet, since it's really hard to draw a proper signature with a mouse.

One way (of many) would be hellosign docusign but running on ethereum main net. Of course this is only necessary if you want to produce a signature that looks handwritten (not essential for the doc to be legally-binding in the USA).

I've been using HelloSign for several years as a consumer and it's always been fantastic.

While I've heard they have a nice API, they don't have the institutional credibility that Docusign and EchoSign have. Also, their pricing was way, way higher than EchoSign's.

APIs like https://app.hellosign.com/api/pricing are priced per signature request... that's far from a linear cost... The whole ecosystem reeks of price fixing.

Integration was easy. The Ruby SDK JS lib worked great... Customer service has been good responsive. Two slightly annoying things: (1) they don't have per-request fees if you go over your allotted usage... (2) they wouldn't let us go month-to-month.

HelloSign is very pretty but... one of the biggest issues with other services was the max amount of templates imposed by HelloSign and the rest. It feels very arbitrary.
Hacker News • HackerNews • Use case: e-signatures (compared to Adobe Sign)
The API docs looked way way better... but it's literally ten times the price of DocuSign and I don't know how long they'll be in business, so it's a hard sell.

HelloSign... is not on the Secretary of State’s list and is therefore worthless in North Carolina (and they’re possibly in violation of the law for offering such services without seeking approval).

But this option is significantly less popular than hellosign docusign. I guess the value-add for them is having a web interface, but I m not convinced it s worth the $150 year.

when considering all players in the market, including HelloSign, it was really cost prohibitive.
