ADP systematically deactivated these accounts—accounts that you set up, in your payroll system, to allow Zenefits to work on your behalf... All they’ve done is make it more inconvenient for you, their customer.

They, or likely their payroll provider (ADP?) did. I specifically asked before I started if they shared my salary info with any credit agencies. The HR rep: No we do not!

Not a surprise if I tell you that their software is horrible...

ADP required me to fill out a spreadsheet with the required employee information. Once the data is in, you flip the switch and you're up and running on the new system.

Even the biggest companies outsource it to companies like ADP or PayChex, who don't do a very good job.

you can call in and add any third-party person you want as an admin to your payroll system So they will create an admin account for a person - a single, human individual.

ADP disabled Zenefits access to ADP’s RUN small business solution due to unusual and alarming demand for data from Zenefits far out of proportion to the number of clients.

Hacker News • HackerNews • Use case: Small business payroll solution that Zenefits was attempting to access.

More powerful than Gusto but the UI feels like 2010. Pricing is opaque too.
